Daniel brought a wealth of recruitment knowledge to Perfect Placement when joining Perfect Placement in July 2010 and rapidly established himself as one of the leading Specialist Automotive Recruiters in the North of England. Initially taking over the Yorkshire area Daniel quickly built on strong existing relationships and firmly positioned Perfect Placement as leading automotive recruitment consultancy in the region. In March 2011 he was also asked to take responsibility for the North East of England. 

Originally from Australia, Daniel now lives in his wife’s home village in Suffolk, moving there after more than 7 years of specialised Technical Railway Recruitment based in London. During his highly successful career Daniel has been involved in fast paced day to day recruitment as well as strategic planning, operational delivery and on-site workforce management. Having worked on many for the UK’s most recent prestige railway projects Daniel bring extensive successful experience of both HR based Recruitment & “On the Ground” Line Management in a high pressure, time limited result orientated environment. During his career Daniel has held local, regional & national roles including an 18 month secondment with Carillion Rail where he was brought in to personally co-ordinate & line manage their 150 strong contract workforce on the challenging Dockland Light Railway 3 Car Enhancement after the project had suffered initial operational delivery setbacks. 

Daniel has also successfully completed the REC’s Certificate of Recruitment Practice and is a full Member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals, gaining multiple rail specific qualifications & safety critical competencies. He has also been attended numerous sales, safety critical communication, management, first aid, health & safety courses. 

Being Australian is expectedly interested in most outdoor activities and sports, but in particular golf & cricket
